HI there everyone. I hope you have been having a fabulous week so far. You have made it passed hump day and the weekend is just around the corner. Spring has sprung finally with all of its beauty and crappy weather. But the seasons are great aren’t they?
I’m opting to write a little bit about my passion. I know I have written previously about my passion for health but I’m finding that the more I dive into my business, the more I am realizing that being everything to everybody is difficult because being an expert on everything is not easy. And to be honest, I can best serve the people in need by focusing in on my niche.
You might have gotten a clue from the title of my blog that my niche is shifting to Hashimoto’s, but the niche is truly deeper than that.
First, why Hashimoto’s? It isn’t the worst autoimmune disease you can have but it is very near and dear to my heart and it affects women greatly. Some statistics for you; 1 out of every 5 women are going to have Hashimoto’s. For every one man that gets Hashimoto’s, 5-8 women will experience the illness. It is kind of a big deal for women. And, I have great personal experience working through the details of this illness.
Second, it took me years to figure out what was truly happening to me. I fixed much on my own but the reality is once you finally get your diagnosis, your body isn’t going to make it back without some help. Medication won’t be enough. I want to help other women make this journey much easier by being a guide that provides structure and clarity to finding their way back to health.
Third, there are many traits of us Hashi’s women that give reason to why this is our illness. I understand this very well and women experiencing this disease need a voice and support that is provided to them in a safe environment to grow and heal.
I did say above that my niche is truly deeper than Hashimoto’s in general. Why, because there are so many women out there, killing themselves to be all to everyone. To work, family, friends and all the while exhausted and emotionally falling apart on the inside because nobody understands what they are going through. These women are my tribe. I understand them and what they are experiencing. Professional women, 35-45, children, busy lives, providing everything they have to their families, lacking support, exhausted, wondering if this is going to be all there is left to their lives. And if you are one of these women, I want to tell you “NO” this is not all that is left to your life. I know you are lost and exhausted, but it is not all that is left of your life.
These are the women I want to help get their lives back. The lives that they imagined for themselves can be achievable with the right amount of work, guidance, and support. This is my passion.
I am working hard to redefine the processes and flow of my business. In a couple of months I will be completely focused on my tribe. Please stay tuned as there is so much more to come.
